1 dead, 3 hurt in a 3-motorcycle collision in Quezon City

A man died while three others were injured after three motorcycles collided along Katipunan Avenue Barangay Pansol, Quezon City on Monday morning.

According to a report by DZBB, Julius Balascopo, 28, died on the spot.

According to barangay officials who responded at the scene, the victim was riding his motorcycle along Katipunan Avenueon on his way to the Commonwealth area when he was struck by a counter-flowing rider, causing him to fall off his motorcycle.

Another motorcyclist and his back rider were also involved in the accident.

The injured individuals were brought to the nearest hospital for immediate treatment.

Authorities are still investigating the cause of the accident.
