Miss World Philippines 2021 sets finals in Olongapo City on Sept. 19

Following a series of postponements, the Miss World Philippines 2021 beauty pageant will be held at the SMX Olongapo City Convention Center in Olongapo City on Sept. 19.

This was announced by Arnold Vegafria, national director of Miss World Philippines pageant, during an interview by ABS-CBN.

“Even as we help in promoting the Olongapo’s tourism, we shall also strictly comply with all their health protocols," said Vegafria, adding that audience attendance in the finals night will be limited.

Forty-five candidates are vying for the opportunity to represent the Philippines in international pageants such as Miss World, Reina Hispanoamericana, Miss Eco Philippines, Miss Eco Teen Philippines, Miss Philippines Tourism, and Miss Environment International Philippines.

Vegafria said the MWP coronation will still be streamed online by KTX.ph with hosts Wynwyn Marquez, RJ Ledesma and Alyssa Muhlach, among others.
