Gary Bejino returned to the pool and finished last in the preliminaries of the men’s 400-meter freestyle S6 of the Tokyo Paralympics Thursday, Sept. 2.
Bejino timed 5 minutes and 52.28 seconds to finish 13th place at the bottom standings behind top qualifier Talisson Henrique Glock of Brazil, who clocked 5:06.26.
Only the top 8 swimmers advance to the finals set Thursday afternoon.
This was Bejino’s third event after also finishing 17th and last in the men’s 200m individual medley SM6 last week and 14th in the men’s 50m butterfly S6 four days back.
He still has one event left in his campaign scheduled Friday – the men’s 100m backstroke.
