Vice President Leni Robredo may not be sure about her May 2022 election plans yet, but what is sure is that she's never going to remarry. Ever.

Robredo, a widow, gave this very resolute answer to Karen Davila in an interview posted on the latter's YouTube channel. The interview, which was part of a "house tour" that Robredo gave to Davila, premiered on Saturday night, Sept. 18.

"Will you ever remarry?" Davila asked the 56-year-old Vice President.

"Ay no, no, no...sigurado yun na hindi (Oh no, no, no...for sure, I won't)," Robredo quickly replied.

"Whirlwind yung aming romance. Tingin ko yun ang biggest blessing ng Diyos sa akin. Na sobrang perfect fit kami sa isa't isa (Ours was a whirlwind romance. I think that was God's biggest blessing to me. That we were such a perfect fit for each other)," she said.

As Robredo spoke, pictures of her together with her late spouse Jesse and daughters Aika, Tricia, and Jillian were shown on the screen.

"Sobrang kuntento ko na sa buhay ko with my children (I'm so content with life with my children)," the lady official said.

Jesse Robredo, a former longtime Naga City mayor and Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) secretary, died in a plane crash on Aug. 18, 2012. His death propelled Leni to prominence in Philippine politics, despite her great reluctance.
