Absolute Performer Sam Concepcion evokes the high energy and adrenaline rush from doing live shows in his newest single marked with thumping beat and fun melody, “Nonstop.”

His self-penned single under Tarsier Records is a collaboration with label head and mainstay producer Moophs, who shared that they worked on the upbeat pop track over eight sessions nearly two years ago.

“We created this in 2019 at a time when he was doing lots of shows, so it came from that kind of energy,” Moophs said.

The “Nonstop” producer also revealed that Sam was hesitant to release the song at first as it may come off as a bit pretentious during this time.

“But we managed to convince him that it’s a light-hearted, fun song which is what people need right now,” explained Moophs. “We all miss the energy of live music, and hopefully, this song will bring people right back to that peak moment concert energy that Sam is so good at delivering.”

The release of “Nonstop” signals Sam’s plans to get the ball rolling again with his music.  He is currently working on an EP, also under Tarsier Records, that will showcase a grown and reloaded version of himself.

Last year, the virtuosic singer-dancer-actor joined Eric Bellinger, Inigo Pascual, Moophs, Zee Avi, and Vince Nantes in the cross-cultural single “RISE.”
