The University of Santo Tomas (UST) will implement a two-day academic break from Sept. 20 to Sept. 21.

"In consideration of the expressed needs of students, administrators, academic staff, and support staff, the University shall have an academic break from September 20-2021," UST said in an advisory.
All classes and office works will be suspended during the two-day academic break.
Earlier, the UST Central Student Councils (CSC) penned a letter to university administrators to ask for university-wide academic ease amid the rising COVID-19 infections in the country.
The UST-CSC also cited the mental health concerns of students.
