In case you're wondering, Kim Kardashian still wore makeup underneath her Met Gala mask

Here’s what she looks like behind the mask

Are you still on a high from all the fashion goodness at the Met Gala 2021 or are you still just in the dark about Kim Kardashian’s style choice this year? Well, if you’re on the latter, then this story is for you.

If you’re wondering about what’s happening underneath her mask, then, believe it or not, the reality star was completely dolled up despite not showing her face on the Gala’s beige carpet. Yes. She may have been covered from head to toe by that black Balenciaga couture number, but Kim wasn’t making any excuse not to be glammed for the night.

Apart from sporting a 75” floor-length pony by hairstylist Chris Appleton, Kim was also given a subtle beauty look by makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic. According to the beauty guru’s Instagram post, he used an array of skincare products courtesy of La Mer before painting her face, which includes Crème de la Mer Moisturizer, the Treatment Lotion, the Concentrate Serum, the Eye Concentrate Cream, and the Regenerating Serum. After prepping Kim’s face, Mario went on and used several products from his own makeup line to create a natural look featuring a nude lip and a subdued smoky eye.

We don’t know about you, but that face can definitely draw attention in the Met crowd, even if it was simple and low-key.
