QC LGU distributes 15,000 tablets to students for new school year

The Quezon City local government has started distributing 15,000 tablets to be used by students as the the new school year opened.

In a Facebook post, the local government unit (LGU) said that 15,000 Samsung tablets were distributed to the parents and guardians of Grade 4 to Grade 6 pupils.

"Simula noong nakaraang school year, aabot na sa 191,000 tablets ang binili ng lungsod (Starting last school year, around 191,000 tablets were bought by the city)," it added.

The LGU assured the public that the 15,000 tablets are part of the city's effort to ease the burden of online learning on the students.
