Mayor Vico, Mayor Kit discuss land matters

Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto paid a courtesy call on Cainta City Mayor Kit Nieto on Tuesday to discuss various agendas regarding each others' localities, especially regarding matters about the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Sotto posted some photos of his meeting with Nieto on his Facebook account and said that Nieto is one of his admired mayors.

According to Sotto, he discussed with Nieto their plans for Pasig City’s two pieces of land in Cainta.

"Sa una, may pinapagawa tayong Mega Dialysis Center, at sa pangalawa, Socialized Housing site sa ilalim ng Rosario Floodway People's Plan (First, we are building a Mega Dialysis Center, and on the second land, a Socialized Housing site as part of the Rosario Floodway People's Plan)," Sotto said.

The young mayor added that they also talked about the three-decade land/boundary dispute between the two localities and said that their technical staff will look on the matter.

"Thank you Mayor Kit Nieto for accommodating us, and also for your advice and insights!," Sotto said.
