The Philippine National Police (PNP) has effected a revamp following the retirement of a senior officer.
Police Maj Gen. Alfred Corpus, a member of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) Class 1987, bowed out of service after reaching the retirement age of 56. His post as director for Operations will be taken over by Police Maj. Gen. Rhodel Sermonia, a PMA 1989 Class member.
The post that will be vacated by Sermonia as director of the Directorate for Police Community Relations (DPCR) starting September 15, was given to Police Maj. Gen. Bartolome Bustamante.
Brig. Gen. Arthur Bisnar was named as Bustamante’s replacement as head of the Directorate for Human Resource Doctrine and Development (DHRDD).
Brig. Gen. Harold Tuzon was appointed as Bisnar’s replacement as director of the Headquarters Support Service while Col. Joaquin Alva will replace Tuzon as secretary to the PNP Directorial Staff.
