Miss Universe Philippines 2021 premieres on KTX.PH

Be among the first to witness the crowning of a new queen as KTX.PH premieres the preliminary competitions and coronation night of the most prestigious beauty pageant in the country, the Miss Universe Philippines (MUP) 2021 from Sept. 21 to 25.

Viewers will get to see 30 hopefuls in a battle of wit and charm in the preliminary question and answer competition on Sept. 21 (Tuesday) and in a fierce showdown with the preliminary swimwear and gown competitions on Sept. 23 (Thursday). Then, on Sept. 25 (Saturday), find out who will be the country’s representative to the Miss Universe pageant to be held in Israel this December.

This year’s pageant also aims to help children in need as a portion of the ticket sales will benefit Save the Children Philippines, the local unit of Save the Children organization, the world’s leading independent children’s organization engaged in charitable projects on humanitarian response, health and nutrition, education, and children’s rights.

As early as July, MUP has been on a quest to find the successor to Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo in the different regions in the country, with weeks of intense contests online including the headshot, introduction challenge, runway, casting, and interview challenges.

Miss Universe Philippines recently narrowed down its delegates from 100 hopefuls to 30 finalists. The battle gets even more intense as the scores of the 30 delegates are now back to zero.
