Las Piñas City LGU inoculates 63.1% of residents with 1st dose, 49.3% with 2nd dose


The Las Piñas City government said a total of 709,368 residents were already vaccinated against COVID-19 -- 403,191 with their first dose and 314,888 with their second dose.

The Public Information Office (PIO) posted on its Facebook page that the 403,191 individuals inoculated with the first dose represent 63.1 percent of the target population for vaccination.

Those belonging to the A4 category have the highest number of vaccinees at 166, 284 for the first dose, and 139,415 who are fully vaccinated.

The A3 category or people with comorbidities followed with 104,586 for the first dose and 84,192 for the second dose.

A total of 4,055 under the A3 category received Johnson & Johnson's Janssen vaccines.

Mayor Imelda Aguilar called on the residents to register with the city’s vaccination program in achieving the goal of “Ligtas na Las Piñero, Lahat Bakunado.”
