2 dead, 2 wounded in Pasig road mishap

Two people died while two others were wounded after a sedan and a truck collided on C5 flyover in Pasig City early Monday morning.

According to a report by GMA, the accident occurred at 2:36 a.m. along the northbound lane of C5 flyover.

The driver of the sedan and the passenger directly behind him suffered injuries and were brought to the hospital.

The two female passengers sitting on the right side of the vehicle were killed after being crushed. The bodies of the two victims were extracted from the wreckage at 5:45 a.m.

The driver said that they came from Makati City going to Marikina City when the accident occurred.

He said that a truck hit their vehicle and immediately fled the scene.

Investigation is ongoing.
