Man stabbed dead in Quezon City car wash

A man was stabbed to death Friday afternoon inside a car wash on Banawe Street in Barangay Lourdes, Quezon City.

La Loma Police Station commander Major Tyrone Bermudez identified the victim as Ricky Dean Bermudez, 27, a resident of Barangay Sto. Domingo, Quezon City. He died on the spot.

Based on initial police investigation, the victim was attending to his client when the suspect, identified as Marlon Lee alias “Kiko”, 25, armed with a bladed weapon approached and repeatedly stabbed him.

Police operatives conducted a follow-up operation at the residence of Lee and recovered a bloodied white t-shirt and short pants inside his room, but he was no longer in the vicinity.

The suspect, who resides in Barangay Tatalon, Quezon City, is now under the custody of the police.
