Cha-Cha Canete drops latest song 'Agwat' composed by Jungee Marcelo

Enjoy another sure-fire hit by no less than music producer (composer, lyricist, and arranger) Jungee Marcelo.

Marcelo is excited to launch this work with “Bulilit” former child actress/singer Cha-Cha Canete who is now a teener and currently in senior high at the University of Sto. Tomas (ABM Strand).

“Singing has always been in my life, growing up. It’s just that I spent more years honing my talent under singing mentors that are not in showbiz. I spent those years training and competing abroad,” shared Cha-Cha.

It is very evident that she is passionate about her studies as well as her craft. “I love singing because it bridges generations, it takes away language barriers, it speaks out to people in situations and more importantly, it brings happiness and good memories to listeners,” the young singer added.

Marcelo said that the song is not actually just about romantic relationships. It can also be about relationships with friends and co-workers and, yes, even politics.

The single “Agwat” which is a mid-tempo ballad is released under Star Music is now available on Spotify, Apple
Music, Deezer, and its lyric video, on YouTube.

Its music video was directed by Dexter Dakanay and shot at “Artist On A Mission” Kristine Lim’s home and farm.
Everyone’s looking forward to its launch on Sept. 16.
