'Running Man' cast to hold online fan meeting

The 'Running Man' cast will hold an online fan meeting on Sept. 5 (Running Man)

The cast of the popular Korean variety show “Running Man” will be holding an online fan meeting next month.

“Running Man” members Kim Jong-kook, Song Ji-hyo, Yang Se-chan, Haha, Jeon So-min and Jee Seok-jin will hold the fan meeting at 6 p.m. Philippine time on Sept. 5 on the TikTok app.

“We always wanted to go where you are and meet everyone. But it has been a long time to wait. So we think everyone is missing each other more and more,” said Jee Seok-jin.

Song Ji-hyo said, “So we decided to do our first online fan meeting to see everyone and cheer up even though we are in hard times.”

According to Haha, “Yes, it is sad that we can't be together in the same city, same space like before but I wish you have fun with us, sing together and make a lot of good memories at least through online.”

“Thank you very, very much for always loving 'Running Man.' Like our offline fan meetings we are planning to present our new performances and play many games so please join us,” said Jeon So-min.

According to organizers, tickets can be purchased at SM Tickets (www.smtickets.com) or Mini Mall PH (www.minimall.ph). A verification code will be sent for each ticket purchased.

“Running Man” was launched in South Korea in 2010 and has been on air ever since. In the July 2021 survey by Gallup Korea, “Running Man” placed fifth among the top 20 favorite shows in South Korea for the month.
