PRC: August 2021 Licensure Examinations for Mechanical Engineers and Certified Plant Mechanics in NCR, Cebu, CDO cancelled

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Sunday August 8, announced that the August 15 and 16, 2021 Licensure Examinations for Mechanical Engineers (LEME) and Certified Plant Mechanics (LECPM) in National Capital Region (NCR), Cebu, and Cagayan de Oro (CDO) have been cancelled.

"Affected examinees in NCR, Cebu, and CDO may take the next succeeding examination without forfeiture of their examination fees," it said in a statement.

"The PRC requests the public's utmost understanding and cooperation as it complies with the guidelines set forth by the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-MEID) as COVID-19 concerns continue to rise," added PRC.

The Commission, however, said that the August 15 and 16, 2021 LEME and LECPM in Baguio, Koronadal City, Lucena, Rosales, Tacloban, and Zamboanga shall "proceed as scheduled."
