LOOK: Hidilyn Diaz officially receives Megaworld condominium

Kevin Tan personally turned over the unit

Everyone is still on a high in finally getting an Olympic gold medal, all thanks to Hidilyn Diaz. One of the many grateful individuals and companies that rewarded Hidilyn for her hard work is Megaworld Corporation. They awarded her with a P14-million condominium unit that's fully furnished.

Kevin Tan, executive vice president and chief strategy officer of Megaworld Corporation, was present at the location earlier today to hand over the unit. "I am so proud and honored to personally turn over to Hidilyn Diaz her brand new condominium at Eastwood City this morning. This is a gift from Megaworld to our new hero for making the entire country so proud," he posted on Instagram.

He also divulge that he got to spend some time with her. "I am totally blown away by her humility and her dedication to her sport. It was indeed a very challenging road to the 2021 Tokyo Olympic games. But she marched on with so much commitment and perseverance and brought home our first gold medal."

Of course, Kevin, being the man behind the delivery service app Pick-a-roo, gave her care packages. They also gave her a cake with a gold-medal theme, along with a charcoal painting by John Ken Gomez, a Fine Arts student from Far Eastern University with the inscription "Thank you for lifting our country up high."

In his post, Kevin shared a few more shots of the unit along with its amenities. For the last shot, it show Hidilyn in the gym. "We are gonna dedicate a special spot for her in the gym for her equipment and training," he adds.
