Kris Aquino hopeful son Bimb would pursue medicine

Fresh from her successful television comeback, Kris Aquino became active again on social media as she got emotional when she received flowers from her son.

"Hindi ko talaga alam anong mabuting nagawa ko to deserve a son as thoughtful and loving as you- how i wish i could have been just 50% of you to Lola Cory because you are the bunso a mom like her deserved," said Kris on Instagram on Aug. 9.

Kris said that Bimb finished Grade 8 with honors. After the Enhanced Community Quarantine, Bimb will start Grade 9, she said.

"And i am excited for what the future holds for him- sana talaga hindi na magbago yung choice nya to pursue a career in the field of medicine," she said.

"Yesterday was for my self esteem, for all of you, for my mom who instilled in me the importance of staying strong come what may, and most of all it was for the 14 year old who never stopped praying for and believing in his mama… i love you, Bimb. Thank you for asking @alvingagui to get money from your savings so that you could surprise me with my favorite shade of pink roses so that you’d have a “welcome back” and “congratulations, mama” bouquet as soon as i entered our temporary home.
