Dasmariñas, Cavite extends localized lockdown in two residential areas

DASMARIÑAS, Cavite - The city government extended the localized lockdown in Mabuhay City Subdivision and Phase II Extension until August 14 due to rising coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases.

Only Authorized Persons Outside of Residence (APOR) as well as residents with medical emergencies and approved requests are allowed to go out of the lockdown zones.

On August 8, affected households were given vitamins and cash assistance amounting to P1,000. The local government unit (LGU) had earlier distributed relief packs to residents in both areas.

The two residential areas were initially placed under localized lockdown from August 1 to 7 after recording 93 COVID-19 cases.
