Ogie Diaz apologizes to fans of Julia Barretto and Gerald Anderson

"Sa mga fans ni Julia at Gerald, lalo na sa kanilang love team, ako po ay humihingi ng sorry kung na misinterpret niyo po yun."

This after comedian-talent manager Ogie Diaz received a backlash following a video clip that tackled the controversial couple Julia Barretto and Gerald Anderson’s went viral.

Ogie reiterated: "Hindi naman ho namin layunin na pag hiwalayin yung dalawa."

Apparently, JuRald fans have different reactions to Ogie's video titled "PA-EXPIRE NA ANG LOVE NI GERALD KAY JULIA BARRETTO?"

Mama Loi, co-host of the comedian-vlogger, said that many online users were bashing Ogie.

"Parang lagi na lang daw negative yung mga binabalita mo tungkol kay Julia tsaka kay Gerald," said Mama Loi. But Ogie disagreed.

In fact, Ogie said that he and Gerald are friends and have worked on different teleseryes.

"So yun nga, lumabas na ho yung pambabash sa akin. Wala hong problema. Ako po'y naiintindhan ko ang mga fans ng JuRald. Nagkataon lang po na nakalimutan ng ating editor na ilagay yung quote nung mga fans na pa expire na. Kaya din yun yung title...”

“Importante lang, bukas sa loob ko yung humihingi ng sorry kasi alam naman namin na meron kaming pinagbatayan nun - yung comment na yun, kaya yun din ang title namin,” Ogie added. “Ganun pa man, at the end of the day, kung gusto niyo pa rin po ako i-bash, importante lamang po kapag ginagawa niyo yan happy kayo. At least nakapagpaligaya ako ng ibang tao.”
