Rabiya Mateo to replace Ellen Adarna in 'John En Ellen?'

Talk is ongoing about Rabiya Mateo being considered possible replacement for Ellen Adarna on "John En Ellen."

Note that Ellen recently made headlines, allegedly "walking out" on the show, leaving cast and crew hanging.

Although the actress as with her management already belied the allegation, a show insider confirmed that Ellen is already out of the show.

No, she was not kicked out by production.

According to the insider, Ellen herself bade the show adieu.

Apparently, she fears that continuing work on the series is not good for her health given the ongoing pandemic.

In any case, the insider whispered they are now indeed scouting for her replacement.

And yes, Rabiya is among those being considered.

"Pero hindi pa yan sure, huh? Wala pang confirmation kung si Rabiya na nga ang ipapalit. Tinitignan din namin ang possibility kung puede si Arci Muñoz or si Ivana Alawi. Yun lang mga names na nag crop-up. Baka mag-yes, baka mag-no. Let's see..."
