James Reid on seeing ex-babe Nadine Lustre with another man

More than a year since his split from Nadine Lustre, James Reid was asked if he's ready to see her find new love.

He told Boy Abunda: “I don't think anyone in that situation is really excited to see the ex with someone else.”

But, the King of Talk was persistent.

He asked James: If you have a choice, what would it be?

Well, James simply wished Nadine "the best."

"I want her to be happy," he noted.

When Boy went on to ask if he would allow Nadine to entertain suitors, he replied: “I'm not her husband neither her father so she can do whatever makes her the happiest.”

In a past interview with Boy, Nadine described her relationship with James as “it is what it is.”

“He's just been pushing me. He's actually the one lining up all the projects for me which I am really grateful for. I wouldn't have done it without him, to be honest.”

Recall that Nadine is signed with James' record label Careless Music.

In the same interview, Nadine noted she is not seeing anybody.

"I am so busy. I have no time. Plus, I really told myself, you know, I'm not... I just wanna work on myself.”

However, recently, news about her dating a non-showbiz guy, circulated.
