Filipino Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle is currently here in the country for a short vacation.

It was not clear as to when the cardinal arrived here but CBCP News posted a picture of Tagle with his successor in the Archdiocese of Manila Cardinal Jose Advincula, in their Facebook page, Thursday, August 5.
"Cardinal Jose Advincula of Manila meets his predecessor Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle at the former’s residence in Intramuros on Thursday, Aug. 5," read the post.
"Cardinal Tagle, prefect of the Vatican’s Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples, is in the country for a short vacation," it further read.
Tagle was unable to attend Advincula's installation as the 33rd Archbishop of Manila last June as he is based in Rome.
Pope Francis appointed Advincula as the new Archbishop of Manila in March.
The Archdiocese of Manila has been without an archbishop since Cardinal Tagle left for Rome in February 2020 to assume his new post in the Vatican.
