Magallanes, Cavite LGU: Cover health workers' license numbers when posting vaccine cards on socmed

MAGALLANES, Cavite - The town's Rural Health Unit (RHU) reminded residents to take precautions when posting photos of their vaccine cards on social media.

In a Facebook post on Friday (August 6), the RHU asked vaccinees to cover the license number of the health worker who administered their vaccine before posting the photo online.

"Maari po sigurong paki lagyan ng emoji o paki takpan ang license number ng ating mga nurses/midwife. Ito po ay mahahalagang impormasyon at maaring magamit sa mga ilegal na gawain o dokumento (Please cover the license numbers of our nurses or midwives. This is important information and can be used for illegal acts or documents)," the post said.

Mayor Jasmin Maligaya-Bautista chimed in and posted a reminder on Facebook, saying that health workers' license numbers might be used to tamper or falsify vaccine cards.
