August 2021 MELE in NCR cancelled

The Mining Engineers Licensure Examination (MELE) scheduled from August 9 to 11 in the National Capital Region (NCR) has been cancelled.

As to the August 9, 10, and 11, 2021 MELE in Baguio, Cebu, Legazpi, and Koronadal, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) said, "it shall proceed as scheduled."

"Affected examinees in NCR may take the next succeeding examination without forfeiture of their examination fees," the Commission said in a Facebook post Friday, August 6.

"The PRC requests the public's utmost understanding and cooperation as it complies with the guidelines set forth by the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-MEID) as COVID-19 concerns continue to rise," added PRC.
