The Parañaque City government has started distributing home quarantine passes to household prior to the implementation of the enhanced community quarantine on August 6 to 20.

According to Mar Jimenez, Public Information chief, Mayor Edwin Olivarez ordered each barangay to issue one new home quarantine pass for each household on Tuesday (August 4) to limit the movement of people outside their residences.
Jimenez said for each household, only one will be allowed to go out to buy essentials such as food and medicines, and also during emergency cases.
Jimenez said those who were issued home quarantine passes should also bring their valid identification cards.
He said Olivarez also ordered the strict implementation of the ECQ guidelines to prevent the spread of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) Delta variant.
The PIO chief added that for the transport groups, drivers with quarantine passes will be allowed to ferry commuters around the city.
Olivarez also ordered the deployment of barangay officials in coordination with the police to ensure that people going outside their residence are following the health protocols and curfew hours from 8:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m.
