Sept 2021 Licensure Examinations for REE and RME in Cebu cancelled

The September 2021 Licensure Examinations for Registered Electrical Engineers (REE) and Registered Master Electricians (RME) in Cebu have been cancelled.

The Professional Regulation Commission on Tuesday, August 31,announced the cancellation of the Sept. 5, 6, and 7, 2021 licensure examinations citing the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-MEID) resolution placing Cebu under Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ).

However, PRC said, the Sept. 5, 6, and 7, 2021 Licensure Examinations for REE and RME in the National Capital Region (NCR), Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Davao, Iloilo, Legaspi, Lucena, Pagadian, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga shall proceed as scheduled.

"Affected examinees in Cebu may take the next succeeding schedule of the abovementioned licensure examinations without forfeiture of their examination fees," it said in a Facebook post.

"The PRC requests the public's utmost understanding and cooperation as it complies with the guidelines set forth by IATF-MEID as COVID-19 concerns continue to rise," added PRC.
