Online oathtaking of new Mechanical Engineers and Certified Plant Mechanics on Sept. 24

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) said the new passers of the Licensure Examination for Mechanical Engineers and Certified Plant Mechanics will have their online oathtaking on Sept. 24, 2021.

The online oathtaking at 10 a.m. will be spearheaded by PRC NCR â€“ Morayta through Microsoft Teams or Zoom.

PRC said inductees shall wear a formal or business attire and use a white backdrop (white physical or virtual background) throughout the oathtaking ceremony.

"Please secure an online appointment schedule at http://online.prc.gov.ph and select 'e-OATH' as transaction," it said.

"The online registration will close five calendar days before the virtual oathtaking day," added PRC.

The Commission said inductees are required to print the "Oath of Professional" form that is downloadable at the PRC Online Services.

"Please check the link below for the step-by-step procedure of online oathtaking application system: https://www.prc.gov.ph/article/online-oathtaking-application-system/4532," it said.

"For specific registration and ceremony protocols, kindly check this link: https://www.prc.gov.ph/sites/default/files/2020-1255%20revised.pdf," added PRC.
