KWF awards Mandaluyong City with 'Selyo ng Kahusayan sa Serbisyo Publiko Antas 4'

The Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino (KWF) has awarded the Mandaluyong City its fourth Selyo ng Kahusayan sa Serbisyo Publiko Antas 4 on Tuesday as it gave due recognition to the city's continuous use of the Filipino language in public service.

The city government said that the award was achieved because of the joint efforts of Mayor Menchie Abalos and the Samahang Tagapagpalaganap ng Wikang Filipino sa Mandaluyong (STWF-Manda) in using Filipino as its main language in the city's official communications and letters being disseminated to the public.

Abalos assured the public that the city government will continue to use and enrich the Filipino language in all its official letters and communications as well as to give importance to the native language for years to come.

The KWF awards is annually held every August in celebration of the Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa.

The city was previously given the same award three times from 2017 to 2019.
