MMPC launches new Mirage G4, reiterates commitment to CARS Program

Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) has launched the New Mitsubishi Mirage G4, its top selling nameplate that is enrolled model in the incentive-driven CARS (Comprehensive Automotive Resurgence Strategy) Program of the government.

Since its 2013 debut in the Philippines, the Mirage has already sold more than 92,000 units locally and achieved more than 370,000 unit sales worldwide.

At the press launch, MMPC President and CEO Takao Kato said that the introduction of the New Mirage G4 enhances its local production and commitment to the Philippine market further more.

On the updates of its production volume for the CARS Program, MMPC General Manager for Product Planning Xavier Eyadan said the pandemic has affected its performance. “However, we are continuously committed to reviving our auto industry and contributing to the revitalization of the economy,” he said.

He said that MMPC remained optimistic despite the current situation. He pointed out that MMPC has shown it has been delivering its commitment.

The New Mirage G4 has suggested retail prices of GLX (manual) P769,000, GLX CVT price at P819,000, and the GLS CVT, which is the high-end variant at P899,000. The new Mirage G4 comes in 4 colors: Red Metallic, Titanium Gray Metallic, Cool Silver Metallic, and White Solid.

Meantime, MMPC said the new Mirage G4 now carries the distinguished Mitsubishi Motors Dynamic Shield that is complimented by a new sporty headlight and front grille design that promotes confidence and versatility. Along with the exterior upgrades are 15 inch alloy wheels and fog lamps that blends well with the overall aggressive style of the Mirage G4.

The new Mirage G4 still holds the features that made it successful from the start. Equipped a 1.2L MIVEC engine that is partnered with an INVECS-III CVT transmission, the G4 delivers dependable power and exceptional fuel efficiency. It has a spacious interior that can comfortable accommodate 5 adults. Plus a roomy trunk space that is ready to take on your luggage and cargo.

The Mirage G4 has a compact size that allows the driver to easily manoeuvre through the busy streets of the metro and park fittingly at tight parking slots. The G4 is loaded with convenient features such as keyless operation system, push start button, electric power steering, auto climate control, steering wheel mounted audio controls and 7” Smart Phone Link Display Audio (SDA) touchscreen multi-media system (compatible with Apple Carplay and Android Auto) makes every drive easy and stress-free.

The smart and practical subcompact sedan now showcases a more aggressive and sportier style that will surely capture the attention of the market.
