These female athletes know how to make a statement at the Tokyo Olympics

Girl power, but with lots of style!

Who says you can't look great while competing at the Tokyo Olympics? Tokyo2020 Instagram account compiled just some of the women who made heads turn at the ongoing competition. Check this out.

Gabrielle Thomas of USA is just gorgeous with her lush long lashes and thick wavy locks. It doesn't hurt that she's looking so fit and lean, too! And did we mention that this sprinter is a Harvard University graduate?

Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce from Jamaica had her hair colored in her country's flag hues—tri-color ombre, at that! This sprint runner brought Jamaica into the spotlight with her past Olympic wins.

Tennis player Naomi Osaka, who is representing Japan, sports a full-braided hair with vibrant red hue that represents the color of the Japan flag. She ties it into a pony when she plays. And every move she makes just makes watching her a mesmerizing one, thanks to her striking hairstyle.

Courtney Hurley, a fencer from the USA, won bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics. And she showed how much she loves representing their country by sporting colors—and a shaved scalp in the shape of a star—of the American flag.

Jamaica's Elaine Thompson-Herah remains to be the fastest woman alive, and also sported blonde hair with a shimmering metallic headband when she competed. Who says you can't be all glammed up while running?
