A netizen fell victim to an online scam and lost about P18,000.

In a Facebook post, Ice Idanan shared how she was scammed by an online bike shop.
Idanan said they were supposed to buy a hospital bed for her mom and saw one worth P5,000 posted in an online shopping network.
The seller asked for a downpayment of P2,500. However, as their conversation went on, the seller kept on asking for more money.
"We messaged them on Viber for a faster transaction. But scammed us by asking demurrage charges amounting to 18k," Idanan wrote.
"I admit I was very gullible and stupid to fall for all this. Umiyak , tumaas BP ko, asthma attack (I cried, my blood pressure went up, I had asthma attack) . I just really believed in humanity too much. Mabait/tanga lang talaga ako masyado. Sayang pera (Maybe I was just really kind or stupid. What a waste of money). Sorry mommy," she added.
Idanan hopes the incident would serve a warning to netizens and advised the public to be vigilant against scams amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
