Showcase Pinoy pride with this new rap challenge on TikTok

Remember how birthday parties used to have that one game where guests test who can say “happy birthday” in one breath with the longest time? Network service provider TNT is putting a modern twist to that, and it's encouraging Filipinos -- especially those who frequent TikTok - to join a rap challenge and show off their Pinoy pride.


The #TNTYanAngPinoyOneBreathChallenge has hundreds of TikTok users who have already tried rapping along to TNT’s ‘’Yan ang Pinoy’ anthem, originally sung by Asia’s Soul Supreme KZ Tandingan.

In the challenge, as its name suggests, TikTok users should perform their own version of the song and rap all the lyrics of it in just one breath.


TNT says that this is their way to extend positive vibes and to inspire young Filipinos not just to boast their talents through the creative tools of TikTok, but to also pursue their dreams, as this is what the lyrics of the song are all about.

Apart from KZ, other celebrities and online creators who already took on the #TNTYanAngPinoyOneBreathChallenge were Mimiyuuuh (https://vt.TikTok.com/ZGJDqs1U9/), Darren Espanto (https://vt.TikTok.com/ZGJDE7KYH/), and contestants of reality talent show ‘POPinoy.’


As of writing, the #TNTYanAngPinoyChallenge has more than 700,000 views on TikTok.
