Combined elements of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and the Philippine National Police (PNP) arrested Wednesday, August 25 four pushers and seized P3.4 million worth of shabu during a buy-bust operation in a parking lot of a mall in Alabang, Muntinlupa.
PDEA spokesperson Derrick Arnold Carreon identified the suspects as Fredrick Moldez, 40, Vilma Maritana, 51, Richard Flaminian, 59 and Bricks Marhana, 18.
Initial reports revealed that the anti-narcotics team seized one knot-tied transparent bag containing more or less 500 grams of suspected shabu and one genuine P1,000 bill on top of boodle money during the 2:30 p.m. operation.
The suspects are facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
After weeks of intense surveillance, the operating units of the PDEA Aurora, PDEA Southern District Office, Southern Police District (SPD) and Muntinlupa-Alabang sub-station 3 collared the suspects. (Chito A. Chavez)
