3 suspects nabbed in P350,000 shabu bust in Pasay City

Pasay City police seized more than P350,000 worth of shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) and arrested three suspects listed in the police drug watch list in a buy-bust operation Wednesday afternoon.

Col. Cesar Paday-os, city police chief, identified the arrested suspects as Joseph Morales, 61; Charlita Morales, 51; and Joseph Alverio, 19, all residents of Pasay City.

The suspects are detained at the Pasay City police custodial facility and illegal possession of drugs was filed against them.

Paday-os said members of the Pasay City Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) conducted a buy-bust operation at 2507 Tolentino St., L. Medina, Barangay 123 Zone 12 at about 4:45 p.m., leading to the arrest of the suspects.

He said members of the DEU recovered from the suspects 51.77 grams of shabu worth P352,036.

The drugs were brought to the Southern Police District Crime Laboratory for chemical analysis.
