Lorna Kapunan on Nadine Lustre's tussle with Viva: 'Case is still pending'

The issue between Nadine Lustre and Viva Artist Agency is far from over.

This, despite the recent announcement of Vincent del Rosario, President and COO of Viva Comm., Inc., that they are to sit down soon with the actress-singer to discuss possible movie projects.

According to Lorna Kapunan, Nadine’s lead counsel, it doesn’t change anything.

She said in a statement: "Nadine has a separate movie contract with Viva that is still existing.

“What she terminated was the management/agency contract with VAA.

"The case is still pending since we filed a Motion for Reconsideration of the Decision of the court.

"Nadine is now self managing."

Not a few were disappointed to hear about the statement.

Many believe the protracted legal battle detrimental to Nadine’s career.

In any case, Nadine herself has chosen to remain silent on the issue.
