August 2021 Social Workers Licensure Examination in Metro Manila cancelled
The August 2021 Social Workers Licensure Examination (SWLE) in the National Capital Region (NCR) has been cancelled.

On Sunday, Aug. 22, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced the cancellation of the Aug. 24 to 26 SWLE in NCR in view of the resolution of the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-MEID) placing Metro Manila under modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ).
The Commission, however, said that the Aug. 24, to 26 SWLE in Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Koronadal, Iloilo, Legaspi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga shall "proceed as scheduled."
"Affected examinees in NCR may take the next succeeding licensure examination without forfeiture of their examination fees," PRC said in a Facebook post.
"The PRC requests the public's utmost understanding and cooperation as it complies with the guidelines set forth by IATF-MEID as COVID-19 concerns continue to rise," it added.
On the same day, the PRC also announced the cancellation of the August 27 and 29, Licensure Examination for Architects in the NCR also due to the MECQ.
"However, the August 27 and 29, 2021 LEA in Baguio, Cebu, Koronadal, Iloilo, Legaspi, Lucena, Pampanga, Tacloban, and Zamboanga shall proceed as scheduled," it said.
"Affected examinees in NCR may take the next succeeding licensure examination without forfeiture of their examination fees," added PRC.
