Ateneo implements strict access, movement restrictions during MECQ

The Ateneo de Manila University (AdMU) has implemented strict access and movement restrictions in all its four campuses during the reimposition of the modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) in Metro Manila.

In an advisory, AdMU said those with essential work in clinics, cafeterias offices, publications, laboratories engaged in essential services and COVID-19 initiatives, facilities management, information technology, and construction projects will be allowed entry into the campus during MECQ.

Those who will conduct relief operations and seeking check-ups at Healthdev and medical rehabilitation at Moro Lorenzo, as well as food and medical supplies deliveries for on-campus residents will also be allowed entry.

To ensure the safety and health of the members of the community, those who are granted permission to enter the campus are asked to limit movement to within the designated area, observe physical distancing of two meters, wear a face mask and a face shield, and wash hands frequently.

Metro Manila is under MECQ until Aug. 31.
