Over 1,940 people inoculated during PCG's NAIA COVID vaccination rollout

At least 1,940 personnel and government employees were inoculated against coronavirus disease (COVID-19) as the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) conducted a three-day vaccination rollout at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).

The PCG held the three-day COVID-19 vaccination roll-out at the NAIA Terminal 4 in Pasay City on Aug. 16, 18, and 20.

According to the Coast Guard, the 1,940 individuals vaccinated were government employees, including PCG personnel and Auxiliary volunteers.

Rear Admiral Rolando Punzalan, commander of the PCG’s Task Force Bayanihan Returning Overseas Filipinos (TFBROF), expressed gratitude to the PCG frontliners for the successful initiative.

“Maraming salamat po sa inyong lahat (Thank you to all of you). It was an honor undertaking said activity of ‘saving Filipino lives’ through vaccination rollouts with our brothers and sisters in the PCG and the PCGA,” Rear Admiral Punzalan said.

“We hope to see you again during the inoculation of the second dose this September,” he added.
