Maureen Wroblewitz dedicates MUPh stint to late mom

German-Filipino model and actor Maureen Wroblewitz from Pangasinan got a bit emotional when she won the latest challenge for Miss Universe Philippines 2021 as she dedicates her achievements to her late mother.

On Instagram, Maureen shared childhood photos of her family.

"We’re number 1. Thank you to everyone who voted for me, and thank you to my team! These past few days have been full of blessings! Being back in Pangasinan, my Mom’s home, I’ve felt her presence even more.

"I know that she is watching over me, over us @melwrob @mariwrob @marionwrob, and she is extremely proud of all of us! All of our failures and all of our achievements. This is for you, Mom," Maureen wrote.

On Saturday, it was revealed that Maureen topped the casting challenge video for the MUP 2021.

Maureen, 23, figured prominently in previous MUPh challenges - headshot, video introduction, and runway.

Organizers of MUPh are expected to announce today, Aug, 22, the Top 50 delegates who will advance to the competition.

From 50, the official delegates will be narrowed down to 30 soon.

The grand coronation of Miss Universe Philippines 2021 Competition will be held on Sept. 25.

This year's winner will represent the Philippines at the Miss Universe pageant in Israel.
