For nth time, Mommy Dionisia wants son Manny Pacquiao to retire from boxing

Dionisia Pacquiao, mother of boxing champ Manny Pacquiao, has accepted the defeat of his son to Cuban boxer Yordenis Ugas in Las Vegas Saturday night (Sunday in Manila).

In an interview with the media, she said: “Wala ko naguol nga napildi siya, kay unsaon man… kay kaning away, manalo, matalo man gyud, di ba? Dili man pud puros panalo (Hindi ako nalungkot kung natalo siya. Paano kasi itong laban, manalo, matalo, talaga, di ba? Hindi naman palaging mananalo.)”

Asked if she'll allow the senator to fight again, Mommy Dionisia said she wants her son to retire from boxing.

"Mu-retiro na siya uy. Kay giingnan nako, sa nanalo siya adtong una, muretiro na siya. Ayaw man niya mag-retiro… Anha na tingale mu-retiro kung natalo. Karon, natalo siya, mu-retiro na. (Mag retiro na siya. Dahil sinabihan ko na siya dati nung nanalo siya nung una na mag-retiro na siya. Ayaw naman niya mag retiro… Diyan na siguro siya mag-retiro kung natalo… Ngayon natalo siya, mag-retiro na siya.)"

She added that she doesn't want Manny to accept a "rematch."

Mommy Dionisia said she will convince Manny to retire because of his age.
