CSC says 1,179 gov't jobs up for grabs as of Aug 21; urges gov't agencies to post vacancies for online job fair

The Civil Service Commission (CSC) has so far recorded a total of 1,179 vacancies from 14 government agencies that have already registered for the Government Online Career Fair (GOCF) to be held on Sept. 20 to 24 2021 as part of this year’s 121st Philippine Civil Service Anniversary (PCSA).

The CSC said as of Aug. 21, “the GOCF has gathered a total of 1,179 vacancies from 14 government agencies that have already registered."

It said included in the list of participating government agencies are the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), East Avenue Medical Center (EAMC), Energy Regulation Commission (ERC), Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC), Philippine National Oil Company, (PNOC), Philippine Orthopedic Center, Philippine Air Force (PAF), University of Southeastern Philippines, Alaminos City Water District (Region I), Dr. Jose Rizal Memorial Hospital (Zamboanga), local government unit of Bonifacio, Misamis Occidental; and local Government of Julita, Leyte.

The CSC said the government agencies have until Aug. 25 to register for the GOCF in partnership with JobStreet.com.

“Agency registration is through the JobStreet Philippines website at https://www.jobstreet.com.ph/en/cms/employer/cscregistration/,” it said.

The Commission requires participating agencies to identify all urgent and/or critical or hard-to-fill positions requiring immediate hiring.

It said the positions offered should comply with publication and posting requirements on or before the actual event.

“Participating government agencies are required to confirm their participation by completing their registration, submit the list of vacancies, accomplish their agency profile, and complete a chatbot training to operate the LiveChat function during the online event.”
