Kiko Pangilinan reacts to Sharon Cuneta's 'Revirginized'

On his YouTube channel, Kiko Pangilinan shared his two cents on the official trailer of the controversial film "Revirginized."

"Maraming nagtatanong sa akin kung napanuod ko na yung video ni Misis. Yung kanyang pinaka huling pelikula. Yung 'Revirginized.' Naisip ko, magandang magkaroon ng reaction video bilang suporta para kay Misis," he said.

"Sabi nga kakaibang Sharon 'to, hindi tulad ng Sharon sa ibang pelikula. Isantabi daw muna ang dating Sharon dahil nga kakaiba ang ginawa niya dito."

In the first scene, Sharon was promoting the protection of turtles.

According to Kiko, his wife is actually animal friendly in real life.

Meanwhile, when a shot of kids partying hard and getting wild was shown, Kiko added in jest: "Susmaryosep."

But when he saw Sharon's emotional scene, Kiko couldn't help but sympathize.

"Yung ganung iyak, nakakadurog ng puso, kahit pelikula," he admitted. "Gusto kong pumasok sa pelikula kasi sinasaktan si Sharon. Masyado akong na-a-apektuhan na parang 'Teka muna, misis ko yan!' Pero siyempre pelikula lang. Dapat ni-re-remind ko ang sarili ko na 'Teka, pelikula lang yan. Wag kang makialam diyan at pumasok sa eksena at bigyan mo ng handkerchief si Misis para sa luha niya.'"

"But of course, because magaling siyang artista eh talagang mararamdaman mo talaga kahit papaano yung dinadanas nung character niya."

As for the curses and vulgar words used in the movie, Kiko simply deemed it "very colorful."

He then capped off his reaction video by saying: "In the end, dahil ni-re-respeto ko ang kanyang pagiging aktor, bilang artista, ako'y naniniwala na talagang mahusay si Misis. She loves her craft, she loves to perform and she loves her audience. Willing siyang humarap sa mga challenging roles bilang isang professional."

Kiko declared that Sharon is a "consummate" actor.

He also wishes his wife "success" and reiterated his support.

"Ibang klase ang kanyang pagiging artista... I'm very proud!"
