Why Klea Pineda didn't join Miss Universe PH

She has the looks, the brains, the body.

In fact, many have been urging Klea Pineda to try her hand at being a beauty queen.

Well, it isn't as if she's closed her door on the idea.

Actually, she has been intending to make a go of it.

Only that she feels it isn't yet time.

"Hindi ko pa masasabi na one hundred percent ready na ako. Meron pa ring takot, meron pa ring yung doubt sa sarili," she shared in a recent interview.

Then there's ongoing work.

"Ayokong mawala yung opportunity na binibigay sa akin ng GMA, lalo na yung mga shows," she said.

You could ask their permission?

"Well, I'm sure naman na sa future, sa mga susunod na taon, susuportahan din ako ng GMA sa pagsali ko sa pageant."

And which pageant will she join if ever?

"Miss Universe Philippines po talaga, ever since na tinatanong ako, Miss Universe po talaga."
