Why Daniel Padilla is not too keen on using social media

He has millions following his every move on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter.

Still, Daniel Padilla is not too eager to use these platforms as much.

What gives?

Well, according to the actor-singer, the whole thing still feels unnatural for him.

"It’s not natural. Hindi ko kaya, nahihirapan ako,” he told Boy Abunda in a recent interview.

He also abhors the seeming negativity prevalent on social media.

“Ayokong maging negative person. Sana lang maging responsible tayo," he said.

The there's the idea of getting "likes."

“Sa 'likes,' sinabi ‘yan ni Kobe Paras, ang galing ni Kobe Paras… Sinabi niya na sana sa Instagram o anumang social media platforms, sana alisin na yung bilang ng likes. Pangalawa, the count of your followers. Kapag inalis mo kasi ‘yon, magbabago rin ang tema ng lahat. Mag-iiba...”

Maybe. Maybe not.

In any case, Daniel tries his utmost to update his page from time to time -- if only for the fans.

He said, “I just post sa Instagram just to update (fans). Minsan napapatagal, pero I post siyempre. Nakakahiya rin naman sa kanila.”
