The Valenzuela City government has started to distribute the new quarantine passes to its residents for the reimposition of Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) in the National Capital Region (NCR) starting on August 6.
Barangay officials will distribute the quarantine passes on a house-to-house basis.

The city government reminded that the new quarantine pass is free of charge and the validity of the old quarantine pass is only until August 5.
Residents will be required to bring their quarantine pass, valid ID, and ValTrace QR code, especially when going to enclosed establishments.
Meanwhile, Authorized Person Outside Residence (APOR) is required to bring their company ID or Certificate of Employment when leaving their residents.
Valenzuelanos who will go to vaccination sites are required to present their vaccination letter or text from VCVax staff, and self-employed individuals or business owners must bring a copy of their business permit and a valid ID.
