Two buildings in Bacoor's housing project on lockdown due to third Delta variant case

BACOOR CITY, Cavite - The city government has recorded its third coronavirus disease (COVID-19) Delta variant case, this time in a resident of Ciudad de Strike socialized housing project in Barangay Molino 1.

The local government unit (LGU) has placed Buildings 19 and 20 of the housing project under a three-day temporary lockdown from August 1 to August 3 for immediate containment and response.

The City Health Office (CHO) will conduct contact-tracing and mass rapid antigen testing for all contacts and suspects. Only one person per household bearing a quarantine pass will be allowed to go out of the house for essential goods.

The LGU had earlier implemented granular lockdowns in Addas 2C in Barangay Molino II and BF El Grande Subdivision in Barangay Molino VI after recording the city's first two Delta variant cases.
