The Manila city government has called for volunteers for the 24/7 vaccination in the city, Mayor Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso said on Monday (August 2).

"Kung sinumang lisensiyadong puwedeng magbakuna, idu-duty ko kayo sa gabi (Whoever has a license to vaccinate, I will place you on night shift) to replenish our workforce, our medical frontliners during daytime,” Domagoso said.
The city government will conduct 24/7 vaccination in the coming weeks.
According to Domagoso, the city government will take advantage of the implementation of the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) in the National Capital Region (NCR) to vaccinate as many people as possible.
President Duterte approved on Friday (July 30) the recommendation to place Metro Manila back to ECQ from August 6 to 20 due to the spike in COVID-19 cases.
The local chief executive highlighted the importance of the vaccine in providing protection against the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
The city government has called for volunteer doctors, nurses, dentists, midwives, medical technologists, pharmacists, and other health professionals for the 24/7 vaccination in the capital city.
College graduates or college students who are computer-literate can also volunteer for the 24/7 vaccination.
Those who are interested may message or call 0995-106-9524 (Globe) and 0960-604-0771 (Smart).
The use of quarantine passes will be implemented in the city during ECQ.
However, non-quarantine pass holders can still go out for their vaccination and will be required to present their QR codes and waivers.
