Kathryn Bernardo's skin problem revealed

Kathryn Bernardo has been diagnosed with Pityriasis Alba.

According to doctor Aivee Teo, it's a common skin condition characterized by red, scaly patches.

"These patches resolve leaving areas of scalping hypo-pigmentation or lighter coloration," the text on Aivee's latest vlog read.

Kathryn asked if her skin could get better if she soaks under the sun.

“Hindi. Lalong magwa-white ‘yung white. Magda-dark ‘yung dark,” Aivee related.

“You know kids when they play sports, they have parang ‘an-an’ sa mukha? So, this is the same,” she related. "What happens is when you get sunburned, the white patches become more prominent."

Anyway, the doctor pledged to help the actress.

In the same vlog, Kathryn shared how she was able to melt off almost four kilos and now weighed 51.5.

It's thanks to a diet plan where "individualized meals are chef-curated and nutritionist-approved.”
